Getting video into Ipod or similiar Can't Post

I need to find out how to load a 10 minute video in toan ipod or pc type video player.
I would use a dvd player or a dvcam player as the source
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have a way to import the video into computer? As it wil have to be converted, to at least an avi for computer use, and then reconverted for use in ipod.

Paul,

I do live events, I have no computer on site, my original idea is to take a dvd and then load the video into an ipod

If you have no computer, I don't see how it would be possible.
Cheers!
