Need help with Vegas 6 -Docking window problems Can't Post

I've started on my first project with Vegas 6 and tried to set the land scape up for dual monitors. Problem one: After undocking a window and moving it to the second monitor I discovered that I couldn't seem to click on it. I can see it visually but when I clicked on it the screen refreshed and made the window disappear. I'd then click on the first screen and it would reappear but still would not allow me to drag it back over to the first screen because it would disappear again. Problem two: My mouse missed behaved a couple a times and sent the curser all the way to the corner dragging along with it a window. Now I can't seem to click on the window and drag it back to the screen let alone the docking position. The Quick Start Manual explains nothing about this problem. I've sent a message to tech support but who knows when they will resp ond back. I just want everything to go back to the way it was when I first opened up the software. I can't continue with my project until this problem is resolved.

It might not be a Vegas problem. Do other applications behave correctly across the two monitors?

Anyway...possible quick fix to get you at least working again: Turn off the second monitor and work on just one for now.

Thanks to all of you who read my question. I finally turned off one of my dual screens and the computer adjusted my lay out and I was able to grab the window and move them into position. As far as the mouse that caused the mess in the first place I through it out for the cat to devour.
