S-Video vs RGB Scart Can't Post

Hi Smile
You guys seem like you know your stuff, I've asked this question on loads of forums and I'm getting differing answers......

I just got a s-video lead as well as a RGB scart lead for my PS2.
I tested both out, and the picture quality is noticably improved from the standard lead....... however I'm having trouble deciding which is better, the S-Video or the RGB.
I realise that if I can't really tell the difference from sight, then it shouldn't really matter......... but I won't be satisfied until I know that my connection is the best I can get.

So which is technically better? S-Video or RGB Scart?

thanks Sly

Not sure what Scart is but RGB componet video is considered better than S-video.

RGB stands higher in video signal hierarchy than S-Video. SCART (stands for French Syndicat francais des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radio et Television) , or 21-PIN connector, is being used on European TV equipment. Make sure you are using RGB input, not a composit, which is present in SCART as well.
