Sony HVR-Z1U & Final Cuts Studio Mac G-5 Can't Post

Looking for information on producing video taken with Sony HVR-Z1U or AG-DVC 200 and then using Final Cut Pro via a Mac G-5 to edit the footage.

Is there or what type of software will I need to capture the utmost quality of the video taken with the Sony HD camera?

Welcome to all suggestion and or any feed back. Should I be aware of any problems that may occur using these products.

Last, from a compatability standpoint would a Panasonic AG-DVC 200 be a better camera to use with Mac G-5 and Final Cut Pro than the Sony because it's not HD?

Thank-you to all that respond!
