Steadicam Jr with Monitor and Canon GL1 Can't Post

Has anyone out there used this combo? If so, could you pass on the starting specs for set-up. Muchas Gracias.

I use the combination often. I don't know what the setup specs are, however. I spent a considerable amount of time a few years back getting everything balanced. Now when I use the setup, I always make sure the same batteries and the little Steadycam light are on the camera. Keeping everything the same time after time means that only the slightest tweaks are necessary.

BTW, I've been very pleased with the performance of the Steadycam Jr. I bought mine used from a guy that was getting out of the wedding-event business about six or seven years ago. I had a couple of GL-1's back then, and because each different model of camera would have its unique setup that is difficult to get right, I still use a GL-1 on the Steadycam Jr. even though we have moved on from GL-1's as our cameras of choice.

How do you get good results with the Steadcam Jr? The answer is simple. All you need to know is three simple words. Practice, practice, practice.
