Time lapse with VX2100 Can't Post

I can't find my manual...

A few years ago I had an 8mm video camera which you could put into a time lapse type mode where it would record 5 seconds every 10 minutes (or something like that).

Does the VX2100 have a similar mode? And if so, how do I get to it?

One of my kids has a butterfly farm, and they should be starting to emerge from their chrysalises (chrysali?) any day now so we'd like to get it on video.

Thanks

The VX2100 will indeed do this.
Under camera settings in the menu, it's INT.REC, for Interval Recording. You can set the interval between when the camera records, then select the recording time (.5, 1.0, 1.5, or 2.0 seconds).
Good luck capturing the butterfly emergence.

Thanks; if it works I'll post a clip in a few weeks.
