Timecode for DVD's? Can't Post

Timecode for DVD?
I need some help! How can I record timecode on multiple HDD/DVD recorders? The application is going to be the recording of (5) video feeds (2 cameras and three VGA to SVIDEO converters).

I want to start the recording on all decks using a Crestron or AMX control system. After the program is recorded, we'll transfer the HDD to DVD for mailing to a production/editing facility (could use some help finding one of these, too).

Can I record timecode on one of the audio tracks? If so, is there any special pads or filters I need to use?

Thanks for your help!

DV doesn't record timecode on an audio track, but in its own area of the tape...or in the case of a hard drive, its own part of the digital signal. If you record to the DVD format, I don't believe that it supports time code.

I wouldn't record the HDD material to the DVD format prior to editing. Leave it in DV format, even if you use the DVD media as a data storage/transfer method.
