Timecode on multiple HDD's Can't Post

I'm designing a recording system for a hospital the will have 5 simultaneous video sources. I can record to 5 seperate hard disk drives (Firestore, etc) so they can edit after the procedures. How can I provide timecode to all HDD's? Any help would be greatly appreciated...I'd like to know of other formats that may work better in this application (no tape though)....THANKS!
