Transferring VHS to DVD and more... Can't Post

Hi, I'm living in ireland (so I'm PAL) and I have a Mac G5 and I'm wondering how I'd use this machine to transfer a video onto a DVD? What connections will I use? Also, if I was going to do this as a business I probably wouldn't want to be using my own personal computer - I'd have to get pro-gear. Anywhere that does a specific machine that copies VHS (NTSC & PAL) to DVD (Region 0)? Is there such a machine?

Thanks.

And I forgot to ask this: what's the best software (that you might have used or heard of), for making CD-ROMS? Labels for DVD's, packaging software etc... thanks
