VX2000 strange color banding Can't Post

Help! my 1 yr. old vx2000 is acting strangely lately...A weird color banding occurs indefinitely...

That's not the signature of any sort of head clog I've seen before, but it wouldn't hurt to run a cleaning tape for 10 sec. anyway, just in case.

What it looks like to me is some sort of intermittent connection somewhere in the red and blue color channel signal chain. My suggestion would be, if the cleaning tape doesn't fix the problem (and I don't really think it will), then send the camera in for service. Be sure to include a tape containing the problem, or at least a still image like the above JPEG.
