: The only I know of to convert video for playback on CD-ROM is to encode it in MPEG-1 format. This is usually done with an additional box or card specifically for this purpose. You can also render a NLE video as MPEG through a conversion filter. MPEG encoding will allow roughly 1 hour of content on a CD-ROM at VHS quality levels. Playback can be on any MPEG equipped computer (Win 95, 98 & NT have built-in MPEG playback capability - Mac usually requires some additional software). : Check out the "Video Educator" forum for several of my posts on the Dazzle DVC MPEG encoder. If you have other questions, please post or email. : Hal Robertson : Sound Foundation : hdrobert@4state.com I have some home videos that my dad's friend took in super 8 format. I was wondering how much it would cost to convert it to VCR or MPEG or DVD. I don't have a lot of money. This is on OCT 3rd 1970. Our wedding day and my dad's friend had a super8 machine. My father had just an 8mm machine... Thanks for any help.. I live in Salem, NH... Thanks in advance...
