adding a beard to someone in premiere 6.5 Can't Post

am I going to need after effects to add a beard to someone on a clip in premiere 6.5?

By the way, will upgrading to premiere pro gain me any really useful advantages over 6.5 ?

Thanks

Does the person move within the frame? If he's nearly still, you could do a pretty crude job with a still image of a beard, matted onto the video.

I could freeze a frame, I suppose for a brief moment, and than overlay a clip art picture. I think that's what you meant, Doug.
Now that I think of it, the whole process really isn't that difficult after all.
Thanks again.

I think the upgrade to Pro is about $199, so I think I'll go for it.
