Your DVD is chock full of silly filenames ending with .vob or something. The big secret is that .vob files are mpg. You might be able to drag and drop the vob directly into Premiere. If not, change the extension to .mpg. If that doesn't work, you can uncompress it in something like VirtualDub and just save it in the avi wrapper. There is also freeware that can rip the entire dvd to any format you like, but that will take a little more research.
Is it possible to extract the video and/or audio from a DVD and use it in Adobe Premiere? Not a consumer movie DVD, but a burned DVD of a previous project. Thanks in advance... -------------------------------------------------------------- son of a midwestern bureaucrat.
