still photo from DVD Can't Post

I need a simple screen grab from a DVD (one i made from a DV tape running into my panasonic DVD recording deck, Its not protected). when i put the DVD in my laptop (pc) i can watch it using either realplayer or windvd. BUt when i try to do a simple print screen it captures all but the video portion whcih remains blank.

I did not run this through an editor so i do not have the footage. I thought this would be a simple procedure. All i need is a still photo of the closeup. Not worried about great quality. Any quick and dirty suggestions. My last resort is to litterally take a picture of the Monitor. That seems midevil in its simplicity but i cant seem to figure this out.

From the Help menu of Windows Media Player 10:

To capture a DVD image
On the View menu, point to DVD Features, and then click Capture Image.
Notes

This feature is only available if video mixing rendering is turned on in the Player and the DVD decoder and display hardware support video mixing rendering. To turn on video mixing rendering, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Performance tab. Click Advanced, and then, in the DVD Video area, select the Use video mixing renderer check box. Some display hardware only supports video mixing rendering if the screen resolution is set to 800 x 600 pixels and the color quality is set to 16-bit. For more information about changing screen resolution and color quality, see Windows Help.

Import VOB file from DVD into WinDVD in Edit mode.
Then pick the shot and grab it.

Thanks for the replys to this question. i was able to find the grab button on windvd. It worked but here is another problem that arose from that. When i tried to send the picture that it grabbed it i coud never get it to read properly. I used one machine to pull up the dvd and grab it and another to actually try to read the photo. It woudl get about half the picture and then stop. I have attached it here to see if it works or not.

Hopefully we are using the same version of WinDVD.
Insert your DVD in the drive. In EDIT mode press IMPORT button, change FYLES OF TYPE to ALL FILES, find the files having extension VOB on your DVD and import one or all of them.
Place file into the timeline and scroll to find the frame you want.
Press the PHOTO CAMERA button, it will save the frame as an image file.
Tell us how it worked.
