I watched this segment on simplephoto.tv on how you should be treating your clients with some 'little gifts'. I don't think there would be a better time for GMElliott Videography to implement that idea.... if you know what I mean.

(30" would do)

Marcin- hey I read an article that said the clients should buy the vender gifts. That Panasonic 101" Plasma would be a nice fit dontchathink? Cool

Bill- How about a trade...your Dell 30" and 24" for my Apple 30". The addition of the 24" would make up for the differencial in cost. Tongue

Everybody Else- Would $1499 make it more appealing? Angelic

Hi Glen,

I thought about getting a refurb for 1699 - thats at the Apple Store with free shipping and a one year warranty. The thing I like about getting it from you is that I'd know for sure about dead pixels. The one thing you're fighting by selling this to video people is that there are so many monitors out there now with a bazillion different input options on them that it makes a one-input monitor look a little limiting. I'm running an older Viewsonic 1600x1200 23.1" and a Dell 20". I'd love to dump both and the dual G5, pick up a monster Westinghouse like you're running, and then wait for quad core laptops to come out before getting a second system again...

One of the great things about the Apple 30" is it doubles as a Firewire and USB hub. I love being able to connect my hds and cams right up at desk level.

It's a beautiful monitor with incredible performance. Even the black level performance is exellent. No backlight halo on dark screens what so ever. It definitly trumps the Dell 30" in performance but lacks the flexablitly in physical stand adjustment the Dell offers.
