Canon A1, Smooth Shooter, IndiCam Sled, Etc for sale. Can't Post

Hey everyone,

I have changed my direction a bit (not leaving video just modifying what I offer) and have decided to sell my Canon A1, Smooth Shooter, DV-Rig Pro, IndiCam Sled and Bogen Stand (sled mounts to stand for balancing and resting)

The Smooth Shooter and IndiCam have only been used once. And the amazing thing is I had a custom attachment made for the Smooth Shooter that makes it function just like a Jib, very slick.

The DV Rig Pro is in great shape. I had bought 2 but never really used the second one since the first never broke or had any issues.

The A1 has one season on it. It is also in perfect shape. I have a MAC warranty on it which as far as I know also allows one cleaning per year free. I will send it out prior to sale to insure it gets to you very clean. Everything else on the cam is perfect. I believe it can be transferred to a new person, I will read on that for you.

I also have 1 Manfrotto 3156 Dolly. Used once. Perfect shape!

So here is the recap....

1 Canon A1 (One season, with Mac Warranty)
1 Smooth Shooter with single arm and modified Jib Assembly. (Only used 2 times for a few minutes)
1 IndiCam Sled (New)
1 Manfrotto/Avenger A255S Stand (New)
1 Manfrotto Dolly 3156 (New)
1 DV Rig-Pro Stabilizer

If anyone is interested in any of the items email me at paul_therrien@verizon.net

I'm located in New Hampshire,

Thanks!

Paul

Hey everyone,

Ok, so the A1 is technically sold. If anything changes on it's availability I will post it since I got so many wanting it.

The Smooth Shooter is still available. This baby is in "Like New' condition as well as the absolutely brand new sled from Indicam which by the way is much much better then the GC4000 sled. I can tell you why I switched for use with the Smooth Shooter. I have also designed a custom Jib assembly that attaches to the Smooth Shooter giving you a very slick way of creating standing floating shots for hours. Great for instructional video shoots, or anything you can imagine that requires a smooth floating (standing still) shot that feels alive but precise in movement.

The other items like the DVrig Pro are still avialable. I have had emails but no takers yet for these quality video tools.

Thanks!

why do you feel the indicam sled is better than the GC4000? Can it handle the same weight range as the GC4000?

Pics?

Thanks,
Scott

Hey Scott,

It can handle much more weight. But that is not why I got it.

It is much easier to balance. It has less screws to unlock to make the adjustment to the camera.

The handle/grip is wide and easy to direct the sled.

The best part...The gimble actually slides up and down to adjust the center of gravity of the sled. That feature alone has made it much easier to balance and then adjust in different shooting instances. For example, you can balance the sled for indoor use with no wind, then as you go outside you can slide the gimble up a slight bit making it more bottom heavy able to withstand winds and not be so sensitive. That is a huge step up! And you can do that without having to rebalance the cam.

It was worth the money,

Paul
