The MSW-M2000 is a feature packed studio editing recorder that not only records MPEG IMX (SMPTE D-10), but also plays Digibeta, Betacam SP, and Betacam SX. The 4:2:2 MPEG IMX format compares favorably to digibeta and DVCPRO50 decks. PAL/NTSC switchable for worldwide use. Up to 8 channels of audio. I/O include: analog composite/component, SDI, SDTI, analog XLR audio, AES/EBU, RS-422. An older used studio digibeta player such as the Sony DVW-A510 or DVW-510 alone costs nearly as much as this more recent deck and you get IMX recording in addition to the features found on the older digibeta players! This sells new for around 37K. This is a great deal, even if you don't think you need to record in IMX right now. 17K serial, Drum 1016, Tape 942, Thread 2730 (heads typically last on these in the 3,000-6,000 hour range). Excellent working order. $14,000 15K serial, Drum 2685, Tape 1876, Thread 7311 (heads typically last on these in the 3,000-6,000 tape hour range). Excellent working order. $12,000 Sold with 30 day warranty! Contact kevin@broadcastbaron.com or visit www.broadcastbaron.com for more details.
