Now on EBay! (reduced) 2-Sony PD150/170 VX2xxx Hard Cases Can't Post

I have one of these up on EBAY http://cgi.ebay.com/...K:MESE:IT&ih=006

B&H sells the 170 case for $229 plus shipping. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/308859-REG/Sony_LCPD170TH_LC_PD170TH_Thermodyne_Shipping_Case.html

The auction starts at $49.99.

These are both from B&H and they call them Sony although I think they are made by Thermodyne and do NOT have the Sony logo (a good thing in my opinion). They are made for the PD150/VX2000 but we have been using them with both PD150s and PD170s. I actually have three, but I plan on keeping one, just in case.

To make them work with a PD170, I had to trim about ¼” off the left and right side of the lens end, and make a notch in the foam at the battery end. This does not affect the way it holds a PD150, but keeps it from snagging on a 170. You do have to remove the eyepiece on the 170s to make them fit, but we have been doing that for quite a while now and it is no big deal.

These are all in very good condition. I would give them at least an 8.5 out of 10.

you should seriously box it. UPS charges 15 bucks extra for something not being in cardboard. Found that out when I was shipped my pelican.

Thanks, I did not know that. I wonder if FedEx does the same thing. I always thought that these type of cases were considered shipping cases.

At any rate, I will ship it whichever way is cheapest for the buyer. I hate it when people try to make money off shipping and it makes a big difference sometime if you are close to the seller.
