Home-made Video Light System? Can't Post

Crazy I'm interested in putting together a home-made video lighting system for underwater video taping. Can anyone give me tips or directions? Pitfalls to avoid (like maybe don't even try)? I know there are some people out there who have tackled this. Sly

Many thanks!
Maxwell

Look for a book called Steve Lindblom's Divelight Companion. It's awesome. I made the MR16 machined aluminum lightheads and my own designed battery canister. It works OK but the machined aluminum lightheads are heavy. I plan to make a set of 10w HID's but am busy on remodeling my kitchen. No rest for the weary. I'd be happy to help with any questions you have ... just ask.

Good luck,

Thanks for the info, Mike! I looked on-line for the Divelight Companion book, but found it no where. Any idea where this book can be found?

Max.

DVCAM error message help needed [In reply to] Can't Post

I know this isn't overly relevant to this thread but I'm in a massive hurry and am not sure how to start a new thread so I'm taking a stab in the dark here in the hope that some kind soul will be able to help.

Have a DVCAM deck, DSR-2000P which has swallowed a tape, won't give it back and is giving me the error message "Error20-911". No idea what this means or how to fix it and Sony aren't being any more helpful so any ideas please let me know
