I am selling my Sony VX 1000 that is in very good condtion with a recently replaced ribbon cable. I beleive this was a fairly common replacement on these cameras. I have 4 batteries, all with varying amounts of life left to each battery. One is brand new. Other than that the camera works just fine. I also have the Sea & Seas VX 1000 professional housing and everything is in good working condition. There is a little cosmetic issue arond the buckles which seal the back of the housing to the front but other than that....nothing wrong. This cosmetic issue does not effect the ability of the housing at all. I can send you pics if you like. The housing comes with both a flat port and a dome port. There are two corresponding, high quality wide angle lens which attach to the vx 1000. Each is to be used with designated port. UR filters included. There is no distortion/vignetting with either port. Something you will probably not find with any other u/w housing and this camera. The wide angle can be used topside as well. The housing came with the flat port and the 80 degree dome port w/wide angle was an additional $1,400 or so. Those wide angles are probably worth a grip just by themselves.
