Stayed there a few times till we found nicer and much more reasonable accomodations in smaller places down the beach...rooms at the Sunbreeze were small and old...location was great right at the pier and a hop skip and jump (literally) to "town"...attached Resturant was the best in town but the owners wrote me a while back and said they had gotten kicked out so it's anybodies guess now...The dive operation at the hotel was wayyy overated (lots of ego and overpriced) so we ended up going with "locals" and having a great time away from the crowds
Diving is good for 2 maybe 3 days if you take day trips way out...to Blue Hole etc...night dive up the "alley" was just ok...
Personally we like the diving down south much better...Placentia has some good operations and deals can be found...check out the Rum Point Inn...all day charter really means all day down there and includes a beach / island lunch...less spoiled and crowded...a side trip up the Monkey River is worth the trip...and the Jaguar Preserve is close
