Travel with Light & Motion housing Can't Post

I recently purchased a Light & Motion Blue Fin housing for the Sony VX2100. I prefer to carry the housing with me during flights. Does anyone have experience with removing the handles to make the housing fit in carry-on luggage. Is this something to be avoided?

Good morning, no there is no problem in removing the handles when traveling; in fact, I recommend it as it will prevent the handles from being possibly bumped or broken off the body. Read your manual to learn how to easily and safely remove the handles and then just stow them safely in your carry on.
