problem with JVC BN-V114 battery

Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing some problem with a new battery that I bought.
I have a JVC camcorder GR-DVP3E and I bought a BN-V114 battery so a can double the recording time because with original battery (BN-V107) is the recording time approximately 1 hour.
After charging the battery for 12 hours like the manual says it did work fine, but after recharging the battery for the second time my camcorder will not go on. With the original battery (after regarging) it does go on.
So I send the battery back to the retailer and ask for a new one.
I did charge this one for 12 hours but this one do not work at all!
Does anyone now what the problem is? Or can somebody help me with this problem?
Do I have to change some settings in the camcorder for the battery to work? 
Any reply is appreciated...
