Hey Marshall

None of this surprises me. I have felt from day 1 that the play in the zoom ring was going to be determined to be normal. I have also noticed this on my Canon 5D digital camera and I remember it being in my Nikon lens as well. It would be nice if it weren't there, but I really have felt and still feel that this is something we just need to think about when shooting. The cf problem I have not been able to replicate though and it sounds like the auto focus issues are problems if you are used to faster auto focus lenses. As I told you in our conversation the other day, I graduated from our Canon Gl2s to 2100s and pd170s and noticed right away that the auto focus on them sucked compared to the canon, so I really do not feel that the issue is any worse on the Z7 than it is with the other sony cameras we have. I want to thank you again for all the hard work on these issues. You went the distance my friend. Personally I feel a bit relieved with all of this being done. I will keep my camera and do not have any regrets. I feel it is a great camera and if I was going to get a couple more HD cameras I would get this one. Prices on them are dropping as well. Saw one advertised for $4900 today. Thanks again.
