I received one very similar to yours, Rob, last fall. If I may, I'd like to share it with all of you, and, yes, it DOES make all the work and effort we put into it well worth it. This is a VERY rewarding job if we care enough to make our videos an emotional, beautifully told story. No picture of it, but this is what she wrote, unedited: Dear Marshall: Thank you so much for the fantastic job you did on our wedding video. Like most brides and grooms, it was extremely important for us to fully capture the most important day of our life together on film. The video you produced for us did that and more. First of all, you caught on tape what we consider to be the most meaningful moments of the day. It seemed like you were always at the right place at the right time. You truly captured all the emotion and joy of the day, along with those funny and unexpected moments that only happened once in a lifetime. In addition, the editing job you did was remarkable. We had a lot of video coverage to choose from, and you pulled out the most significant and entertaining parts of the day. On top of that, the music you chose and how you incorporated it was perfectly timed and appropriate. The video just flowed so beautifully and creatively from one scene to the next. But, Marshall, we have to say that the best part of the video was the joy it brought to both our families. We had the official "Wedding Video Premier" last Sunday, and both sets of parents just loved it! They laughed and cried throughout. The baby montage and love story interviews were particularly touching for them. If I could give future brides and grooms any advice about planning their wedding day, it would be to make sure to invest in a professional videographer, and to use MJM Video Productions! Again, we can't thank you enough for capturing our wedding day so beautifully on film. We will treasure it for a lifetime. Yours truly, Kristin and Gary Lane Married November 3, 2002 And they gladly gave me permission to use this on my website.
