Wow Dave, I always smile when I watch your videos. You have spoken some powerful words, "my work isn't for everyone"..... Thank you for saying that. Some videographers would see your work and say, "oh my brides would never go for that". Again more words of wisdom (from you) "build it and they will come." For beginners or those in a rut. Don't chase them, have them chase you. ANd they will and they'll pay. But you have to offer something DIFFERENT, CREATIVE, FUN, like Dave does. And don't you notice how Dave's way of shooting and editing, allows you to actually "feel" the personality of his clients? I do. I do understand that in some shots he "sets them up", but it's not your typical boring, "look this way, now look at each other, now kiss, now hold it shots." This "voyeuristic" way of shooting allows for their true personality to shine through. Thank you again Dave for sharing with us, your work shows your own passionate personality. And that by itself is not for everyone lol, but you give some folks courage to "step outside the box". Keep sharing, It's much appreciated, Terry T. : Also, my work isn't for everyone and like Jack a s s, don't try this at home :). Only certain couples want the style of video that I do. : For me and my business, It's the old field of dreams. Build it and they will come. I offer a different style of video and 'they come'. I know I attract a number of people who never considered video before seeing what I offer. : In fact, the bride from this video told me that she would of gone without flowers to have me. That was pretty cool..anyhow : I just wanted to say, be true to your style and passionate about your work and the laws of nature will do the rest. Me, I am a bohemian :) and will probably always be over worked and underpaid :)) : ... : g' night : db
