18th Annual WEVA EXPO Set for August 11-14 at Orlando Grande Lakes

The WEVA 18th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo (WEVA EXPO 2008), our industry’s biggest convention and trade show, open to all wedding and event videographers worldwide, will be held August 11-14, 2008 at the breathtaking 500-acre Grande Lakes Orlando Resort, Florida’s premier destination.

EXPO room reservations have opened! The JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, the host hotel for WEVA EXPO 2008, has already begun taking reservations. The special discount for all EXPO attendees is only $99/night (single or double; and kids 18 & under stay free).

Not to mention that the weather is terrible there at that time of year... worse than Vegas by a mile... 
The east coast people have been coming all this time, time to switch coasts. For a lot of people this is the only vacation they have time for and Vegas is just not family friendly like Orlando. Believe me, I hate those tourist places as much as you do. Like John said, I'd follow education anywhere. You have to look at the big picture - this will be good for everybody in the long run. Don't forget - we will always have Paris.
