Clip To Share-Public Enemies Shootout Can't Post

Well the Johnny Depp movie Public Enemies wrapped up filming in Oshkosh this week. I took some of the video and put a short shootout clip together. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Ron. The black and white shots really seem dark. Not sure what to do about that yet. Lots of explosives. Fireworks on the ground basically.

I never saw Johnny. I did get a short clip of Mann though. I would really be much more interested in meeting him than JD.

That was great Bruce! It appeared that at 1:22 a woman in non-period clothing was in the show. even though she probably wasn't. How exciting to have John Dillinger come to town. Wink

Steve it was very exciting to have Universal do parts of this movie in our very small town. I spent lots of time down there mostly watching the crew paint and change the buildings. Gave me a chance to play with the new z7 camera as well as do some editing in hd. The lady in the shot is a crew member that I think was monitoring how loud the crowd noise was in that area. I heard if the people made too much noise they would move the barricades back. Apparently that was true because by the second day of shooting we could not get closer than a block and a half away.

Hi Chris

It took a good 2 weeks to get it looking like that. I was actually more interested in that part than the actual shooting. This is really the first big film done in Oshkosh. We had one a few years ago that totally flopped. The amount of detail they put into everything was amazing.

Movie crews can really take over a town - it's like they declare martial law!

They did take over, but also dropped 4 million in business, so it makes it easier to put up with. Everyone was very nice though. I took lots of video of the workers and many times they ducked under my shots or waited until I was done. Very friendly people.
