DVD architect changing the size of my file Can't Post

We recently upgraded to DVD architect 4.5 when we upgraded to Vegas Pro 8. The problem I am having is this: I render a vegas file with the default mpeg2 settings and the result is a file size is 3.37 GB. When I import that rendered file into DVD architect, the file size jumps to 7.2 GB and it needs to be re-rendered. This works, but it is more then doubling the time it used to take to make a DVD. The old version of DVD architect left the file size pretty close to what Vegas (and Windows) said it was. Is there a setting in DVD architect that I need to change?
