DVDit PE error message! Can't Post

in dvdit pro, i am able to easily burn a dvd with a small file say 5 minutes with chapter points and everything. but when I use the exact same settings for a 30 min file and try to burn a dvd, i get a " discontinued due to unknown error" midway through the transcoding. now it does not say i have no room on my hard drive because i have seen that error before on a different setting. and it is the same avi format i produce from adobe premiere with microsoft dv avi codec. what am i doing wrong?

Re: DVDit PE error message! Can't Post

Try burning to your hard drive first that will eliminate a lot of build errors. I know it takes longer, but is less stressful.

Other than that most errors are from a bad link here or there. that means even the links to the media. Say you have a button or something that shows up and works in the project, but if any thing you are using gets moved from the location since you first referenced it.....it screws up a build.
I try to put all background, audio(ac3) and buttons in the theme folder on the C drive so that I can run through and make sure I have everything. I do not put the video in the themes/media folder because of the size of my C Drive is only 8 gigs and I try to keep the big files off(for obvious reasons). Hope this helps.
