Canopus, and a few other companies make anologue to digital converters. Also, many cameras and dvdecks have a "pass through" feature, meaning you can input your analogue video into the inputs of the camera, and it will allow you to capture it as dv through the firewire out into your IEEE card and capture software. : Most HP CPUs have a firewire these days for NLE systems, now the question I have is: how do you import your old S-VHS or VHS footage into your NLE software? : Is there an adaptor that can be placed between the IEEE and S-VHS or RCA for Audio and Video imports? : Would Vegas Video 4.0 support VHS as well or only digital?
