Funny food thing... Can't Post

I had a client wanting to know if I'd give him a discount because there would be so much food for me to eat all day. He said because they're Italian that there would be great food during the pre-prep, the photo-shoot, the reception, after the reception... I had a good laugh.
We are doing the wedding, so I'm looking forward to seeing all this food. (My best buddy's Italian, so I think I know what to expect... I'm wearing loose pants that day)
He didn't get a discount. :)

Re: Funny food thing... Can't Post

Just did an Italian wedding last Saturday and I ate and ate. Jumbo shrimp, quiche, quisada, etc... and that was just appetizers. There was a four course meal which included ribeye steak and chicken. And at 11:30 pm they brought out pastries!
Combine all that food with an unlimited open bar (no I didn't drink-never do) and a 6 hours reception and the guests were well satisfied!

Hey Dan..my last three weddings have all been at the Hotel Mac :)..
I have been eating so well to quote Homer Simpson..
"My pockets hurt" :)

I sometimes feel guilty for all the good meals I get while my wife sits at home eating something that came from a box :))

Re: Take your wife ;) [In reply to] Can't Post

My wife helps me out on the second camera at some of the weddings. She says it's the only time we get to spend together. Between my full time job and the video it's an opportunity to go out for a nice dinner and dance. Okay...so we work our asses off....but hey...no expense spared and nothing but the best for her. :)
