I have a couple I managed to save. Here`s one originally posted by Jenn M. Questions for Mike & Sharon (example): -How/when/where did you meet Mike/Sharon? -What attracted you to Mike/Sharon? What was the first thing you noticed about Mike/Sharon? -When did you know Mike/Sharon was the one? -Who kissed whom first? (This is often a funny story and conflicting answers can add a comedic element.) -When did Mike/Sharon meet your family/friends? (Sometimes this can be touchy when it comes to family, though. You may want to gage their reaction whether it's worth pursuing.) -How/when/where did Mike/Sharon propose? Was it a surprise? -What is one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day? (Sometimes they give a touching (albeit cheezy) answer that works well to segway into the wedding video. Sometimes this one falls dead in the water, like "I can't wait to get drunk" Or "I can't wait to put on my dress.") It helps to ask leading questions, rather than yes/no questions b/c often the B&G cannot visulaize the end result and don't realize that yes and no won't work. Also, you may want to advise them to use names rather than "he" and "she". It works better when the bride, for example, says, "I met Mike at work" or "I kissed Mike first when ..." rather than "I met him at work" and "I kissed him first." Lastly, bite your lip. I don't know about you but sometimes it can be hard for me not to respond to what they are saying, esp. if the B&G are comfortable w/ you - it can seem like a conversation. You don't want your voice to pick up in the middle of their story. Good luck! -Jenn M And this one was from Trisha Von Lanken Both: Few thoughts on childhood. As a child I loved to .... I always wanted to be a... when I grew up. As a child I admired my .... Both: How did you meet? Both: What did you think when you first met in person? Both: When did you know he/she was the one? Guy: How did you propose? Girl: What was going through your mind when he proposed and your response? Both: How would you describe him/her to someone who didn’t know them. Adjectives: ex. beautiful, handsome, honest, outgoing, sincere etc. I think it is important to be consice telling the story and don't get hung up on trivial details, just important details. I try to think of as a news reporter who has only a limited time to tell the story. These questions are only a guide. Each couple has their own story and that is what you want to tell. Each love story we do reflects the personality of the couple rather than trying to fit them into a particular format. Hope this is helpful. Trisha Von Lanken Picture This Productions : This isnt something I offer, but my wife's sister who is getting married wants the full treatment, and I have access to her and her fiance this weekend. : What are the typical 8-10 interview questions? : I know its been repeated here, but it has slid off the archives.
