How big is your yellow pages ad? Can't Post

I'm meeting with a rep from SouthWestern Bell next week regarding my yellow pages listing and ad. Currently I don't have anything. I know he's going to try and talk me into a large ad - it's not gonna happen. I was curious how large everyone's ad/listing is (in inches) and how much information to you put in it? Plus, what catagories do you have a listing under?
Thanks
Judy

Ours is about 3/4 inch. It is also the ONLY block add. A few others have bolded and enlarged names.

You know what they say, Judy. It's not the size of the ad, but the impact it makes.

Our local videography association recommends internet advertising to get the most bang for the buck! They claim that yellow page adds are good for generating non-event work such as video transfers etc., but for weddings most brides use the internet to plan their weddings. I believe that internet adds are cheaper than yellow page adds also. I've had good results with my internet adds so far.

I agree with this post. Most of the clients looking to have their anniversary, birthday party, transfers, duplications, etc. use the yellow pages.
The only brides I get from my yellow pages ad seem to be the ones looking for the cheapest price.
Our website gets the biggest "bang for the buck".
