How do I shoot a first communion & confirmation Can't Post

I've been hired to shoot a first communion and a confirmation at a nearby Catholic church. I have never even seen these before although I know they're somewhat like a mass.
Where should I position myself?
Is one camera enough?
What kind of editing am I looking at to make this watchable?
Any suggestion on what to do to enhance the video?
What's a good price to charge the parents - I"m thinking $35
Any thoughts or experiences welcome.

This is how I would do it.
Shoot the subject preparing. Documentary style, shoulder mount, with family.
Entrance to church, ask priest for permission to be on altar. KNEEL AND MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS WHEN CROSSING ALTAR'S CENTER!!! Get positioned at on side of the altar. amd tripod mount the ceremony. Cover it like you would any event. Try to lav mike the priest if you have one.
$35 dollars is pretty cheap. If you do it for that little make your client know you are doing this for about one tenth the price anyone else would charge.
Good Luck

the families are already seated, the children walk in much like a processional in a wedding. side by side. all sit in front row seats. priests will follow in behind the alter boys before or after the kids, get still shots of an open page in the bible, stain glass windows, alter, statues, certificates, candle, flowers. girls in white with head covering and boys in suits. after ceremony families usually take pictures with priests. ask if there is a reception following mass. have someone available with forms to fill out to sell your tape. if you like working with the church ask about doing the video work for the may crowning of Mary and graduation. mostly done when church and school are combined. for the graduation ceremony, combine the may flowering and graduation on same tape. get in touch with a person beside the priest and have a quick walk through at church to get your bearings.
