How much $$$ for Insurance Can't Post

I just got a quote of $350/yr for insurance from Hill & Usher.
the summary is the following:
$1 million for general liability (tripod falls on kid)
$35 thousand for professional liability (bride from hell thinks I made her sister look fat on camera).
Equipment is also covered.
Are these good amounts? Is the premium reasonable?

Re: How much $$$ for Insurance Can't Post

Hi Cesar,
I've got basically the same thing for the same price except I have a limit of $20,000 for equipment. Make sure it covers equipment used for business purposes in the home as well as in the field. Home owners insurance will not cover money making assets or inventory. The 35k for 'professional liability' is something I've never heard of though - I have one policy for injury and one for my equipment. It would seem that a good contract would cover everything else...

Hi Joel,
Thanks for the response. The professional
liability, as explained by the agent, would
be used mainly for lawyer fees assuming the
contract is tight. I will ask him if the
quote is based on the current worth of my
equipment or on a limit.
I assume yours covers loss of dvd cases and
blank dvds...things that are not generally
considered equipment right? I have to ask
him about that too.
