10 Things You Never Knew About Chris Chibucos

1. Was born in inner city Chicago and lived there until the age of 9

2. Volunteered to attend summer school after third grade because I thought
it would be fun. What was I thinking???

3. Bought my first still camera in sixth grade

4. Set up my first dark room in seventh grade. It was a Sears photo lab
which had a light bulb in a box for the enlarger.

5. Attended my first concert in eighth grade. It was Joe Walsh with
Barnstorm and special guest Argent. Took up playing guitar shortly
after the concert cause I wanted to be a rock star! I know it sounds
ridicules now, but you have to have dreams, right?

6. Believe it or not, I was a star track athlete in high school winning
every indoor track meet freshman year. I won 24 straight races
including conference. I went downstate with the Varsity cross country
team as a sophomore. I quit after my sophomore year because I thought
it just wasn't cool. What an idiot!

7. I attended University of Illinois at Chicago where I received a
marketing degree (5 year plan) I didn't go away to college and live
in a dorm because I thought the rock band I was in was going to hit the
big times. Once again, what an idiot!

8. A friend once talked my band into playing at their wedding. We were
a 70s band that played mostly Led Zeppelin, Yes, Deep Purple and Pink
Floyd tunes. We played Stairway to Heaven for their first dance and
Whole Lotta Love for the bridal party dance. I have never seen so many
horrified Senior Citizens in my life.

9. Starting photographing weddings on a freelance basis in 1987. Formed
FurlaVision Video Productions with my partner Peter Furla in 1992.

10. I give full credit for any success I have had to my wonderful wife and
two fantastic children. We will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary
this October.
