David Robin, a native of London, England is one of the most dynamic filmmakers in the country. To him, filming events is an art form. A member of local and national videography organizations (he actually founded the American Videographers Association in 1989), he educates and trains videographers all over the U.S. through his workshops and seminars. Since he started Boulevard Video Productions in 1986, and now David Robin Films in 2007, he has won from WEVA (Wedding & Event Videographers Association), an unprecedented 23 Creative Excellence Awards, The Bob LeBar Vision Award, The Distinguished Service Award, and in 2001 was inducted into The WEVA Hall Of Fame, which was an accolade for his distinguished service to professional wedding and event videography. In 2005 David was awarded two Artistic Achievement Awards from the 4Ever Group, and EventDV Magazine announced David as one of the top 25 most influential and talented event videographers in the country, for the past three consecutive years (2005/2006/2007). David's low-key approach to filming weddings has won him wide acclaim. Many publications have printed articles in praise of his work. The Baltimore Sun wrote, "David can exploit emotional moments on par with Frank Capra or Nora Ephron!"

10 things you never knew about David Robin - Grew up in London, England. Moved to Los Angeles in 1981. Secretly wishes he would have moved to New York first.
- Absolutely loves to travel, however, hates flying. Has been all over most of the world, with the exception of the Far East, Australia and some of northern and eastern Europe. But hopes to visit them in the, not too far, distant future.
- Up until age14, had an awesome Marvel Comics collection. Sold them all to pay for a new sparkling red drum kit.
- Played drums for the English new wave band "Toyah" who achieved
success in Great Britain. - Avid collector of Jazz, fusion, Progressive Rock and Pop CD's
currently approaching 5000. - Has a lovely wife of 21 years, and two teenage Sons, 17 and 18 years of age.
- Watches every movie possible via Netflix. But will go to the theater
when a really good one comes out. - Secretly loves American Idol, and tears up when a good contestant is voted off.
- Loves contemporary art, and would collect it, if he could afford it.
- Wicked dry British sense of humor, and loves a great cup of Tetleys English Breakfast Tea, or PG Tips. With milk and sugar, of course!
