well, actually it was on friday.
my wife says to me, "Let's go to San Pedro and have lunch at the fish market." I said "Great!."
she ends up driving down there and before i know it she makes a detour going to Marina Del Rey. She saids, "I have a surprise for you." she pulls up to this old looking warehouse and gets out - leaving me to wait in the car. she then comes back a few mins later and takes me inside the building.
as i approach the building i see a sign that says "Samys DV & Edit" on the door. i don;t know what to think. as soon as i enter i see a guy carrying a box - it says, "SONY HVR-VU1." my jaw dropped. she knew i wanted this camera. they had just moved to this new building so there was no signage outside. what a surprise!
now i need another V1U to complete my collection - my old cameras are on sale as we speak : )
