Now you just need to film a wedding on Fisher Price video camera

I believe that C-Mac had actually given this some thought back
in the day -- not a whole wedding but just some clips.

I'll probably bawl at your wedding. Why not? It's the most important day of your life and you chose me to record it. What an honor! I absolutely love what I do with a passion!! I have had the privilege of working with a lot of really amazing couples, many of which have become fiends since their Most Special Day.

Thanks Brack. But I didn't know this.

You probably know but for others here ... you have to be sure
to tell the telecine place what frame rate you shot at.

Hi, Jason.

The problem you run into if they don't set the telecine up for the
frame rate you actually used is that people will seem to
move a bit faster than what is normal, similar to giving video
a speed of 105% in an NLE - people will be walking too fast.

I got a Super8 Canon 814 auto zoom. The guy I bought it from is shipping it with some rolls so I'll be able to unpack it and go shoot!
I'm the best man in a wedding in early May, so I'm going to carry my 8mm around with me and film stuff when i can.

Before long you'll be filming with a Nokia cell phone.Sly

Great stuff Jason. Since your subject line stated this was your first, I got really focused to see what the difference would be from your regular shooting. In the process I figured out what it is in your camera moves that draw me in. Each clip has a move that is quickly moving into the subject that says, "Look at this over here"! As if something just happened that I have to see. The straight cuts add to this. It's as if something came into my peripheral vision that made me turn and look. Really cool!

Now when will we see the running glidecam move in super 8?Smile

I think that's a bit of a stretch - even for Jason. Wink
