Next NJVA Mtg - Starring Brooke Rudnick

The next NJVA meeting will be held this coming Wednesday, March 11, at the
Bella Casa Caterers. First time guests are welcome at $25, which includes
an awesome dinner. Returning guests - $35. Members are welcome at 6pm,
dinner begins at 6:30, and the meeting starts at 7:15pm.
March Agenda
4:30pm - Board meeting. All board members should attend.
6:00pm - Members welcome.
6:30pm - Buffet dinner is served.
7:15pm -On the Cutting Room Floor - Top 10 Tips and Tricks
Brooke Rudnick of Marc Smiler Video Artist [http://www.videoartist.com] will
show us how to take hours of raw footage and turn it into a masterpiece!
Master the art of controlling your video to keep your viewers on the edge of
their seats. Adding music and sound effects can fill your viewers with
motion. Clever editing can make the difference between an average video and
a brilliant one. Come and learn the TOP 10 tricks Brooke uses to create
award-winning wedding films for clients! Brooke is presently the President
of the Greater Philadelphia Videographers Association(GPVA) and has won
numerous GPVA Battle of the Editors Awards, GPVA Film Festival Awards and
Achievement Awards. Brooke has been a multi-year WEVA presenter, PMA 08
Presenter, WEVA CEA Judge, and a WEVA Disaster Response Committee
Chairperson. She has been a featured speaker on the WEVA Town Meeting Tour
in Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Jose. Brooke is a contributing writer to
EventDV magazine, and she has been featured on WeddingChannel.com and
TheKnot.com.
SECOND HALF - How Did They Do That? -The Bride Prep
We start our new series at the beginning of the day. Come and watch as
members show tips and tricks for shooting a bridal preparation. This part of
the day can be stressful, aas well as incredibly creative and fun. Join NJVA
members as they show you how they create all their cool shots. They will
break down exactly how they shot and edited each element to create the
desired effect. We'll have cameras and a live model (Shar Adrias) to show
you exactly how they did that! We still have one slot open for a presenter
so if your interested call Adam Mancini at 845-215-5831! This is a great
opportunity for a first time presenter.
Mystery Video Theater
MVT returns (time permitting) for a second time this year! Bring in a 5
minute clip (or less) and have it randomly critiqued by the group.
Remember, clips shown cannot be entered in an NJVA contest later this year.
