Our first "fast song" SDE! Can't Post

Last night we did our very first Same Day Edit with a fast song. The bride and groom love comic books so I thought it would be cool to incorporate it into the video.

Notes:
Got help from Comic Life program on my Macbook.
It was a dark Catholic church (for A1 users, any tips for low light conditions... it's always a challenge with these cams).
It was blazing hot that day... 95 degrees in LA... mid April!

Check it out:

Cool video and great for a SDE! I'm imagining some was done prior to?????

Lighting looked good for a low light church and reception. Tips for low light on A1.... Learn the camera and play with adjusting presets. Another tip to consider is you might want to check out the white balance feature on the camera... too much blue dress going on.

Technology. It does wonders if you know how to use it.

Yes, the comic book template I set up the night before and added the footage when it came time to the edit. Got to play it right before open dancing and the crowd really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the tips, Jerome. We just got the cams and still getting used to all the controls.

Hi Loyd and Hazel,

Very nice! Truly hard to believe it's an SDE. You have my utmost admiration!

Loyd & Hazel. loved it! Stand-outs scenes were the speeded up comminion line, balconey shot of train, bride in front of window with the glorious Glendale foothills in the background, the luric tie-ins with shoes, dress and of course, the kisses. I've decided - you both can do all of our SDEs. Smile We pay well! Great job.

I have to credit Hazel for a lot of those shots.
But they were actually moving that fast through communion. Wink

Don't know if I can handle more Same Day Heart Attacks... I mean Edits...
but where do I send my resume? Tongue - Loyd

Thanks, D. The song provided a lot of opportunities for lyric matching...
But I couldn't find those "dancing fireflies". Smile
