Sony Buys Sonic Foundry's Vegas Can't Post
I see no one has posted this already....so I'm just passing on the news. The "other" forums have huge threads running about this if you're interested.
This could be just the financial resource and backing little ole Vegas needs to go ahead and be a serious contender for Avid and FCP, OR it might die a slow death with no backing... ; (
The guys from SOFO who've posted seem very upbeat about it though...

Too Cool! Heck, everything I own is Sony. It will be interesting to see with Sony's backing, how they do. And they wouldn't buy it just to kill it. Sure beats their Movie Skaker.
