Super compatible DVD-R? Can't Post

The above site talks a good game about BeAll DVD-Rs by Samsung.
They are suppose to be so compatible that they work even with with XBox and PS2.
Anyone have any real world experience? I have a Sony 500 Burner and have yet to make a coaster with TDK discs, but I am ready to buy bulk and want the best.

Re: Super compatible DVD-R? Can't Post

I know others in the past have had issues with compatibility with the PS2. I haven't. At least not mine. :) I have a Sony 500 and with generic disks my PS2 was able to read both the DVD-R and the DVD+R (however it was not able to read either of the RW's). Anyway, thats just my experience with the PS2.

Re: Super compatible DVD-R? [In reply to] Can't Post

There are different generations of PS2, so perhaps some of the earlier ones don't read DVD-Rs so well. My PS2 reads an Apple DVD-R well. Yet I also have problems with some commercial CDs and CD-Rs on the same PS2
