Thoughts on photog laserlights... Can't Post

I am dumping some tape to NLE and while watching it am constantly annoyed by the lasers that photogs use to get whatever it is they are getting. I guess it is some sort of auto focus exposure thing. I kept having to tighten up shots so I didn't get the big red square or x on the chests of the posers. Any thoughts on this? Or am I the only one that seems to care?

Okay, this is a new one on me. A targeting scope on a camera? You sure you just don't have footage of a bunch of kids playing with laser pens? Honestly, I have no idea what professional camera would be using such a trick. Now if it was a consumer brand... well I've see things that are ridiclous before!
Yes I would be annoyed, but I've never encountered it. Now if we are talking about those worthless "red eye" flashes, god are those annoying!

No, it's not a toy, it is an auto focus feature on pro cameras. Yes, it's annoying. I've only seen it at one wedding (the one I just happen to be editing right now), and luckily it was only on the face for one of my shots. I didn't use that shot, but I think making it black and white would make it less distracting.
