Two hits from my radio ad Can't Post

Ok, I just need to celebrate. I have two bites so far from my radio ad that has only been running for a week. No bookings yet, but they sound interested. I was going to wait to post until I had a booking from it, but I can't contain my glee!

Paul,
Cool! First time I heard doing it on radio. Did it cost a lot?
Could you post a link to the audio of your radio ad?
Thanks
Kiwi

Re: Two hits from my radio ad [In reply to] Can't Post

Well, I don't have the audio, but the copy from the ad is below. It really didn't cost a whole lot, but that is because of the way that the station is running it. They basically are running a bunch of wedding professionals (They are calling it "The Fish Wedding Planner") together in a "donut spot". What that means is that it is a sixty second spot the first and last ten seconds are the station saying "All of the wedding shows are over, let us guide you to the best wedding professionals blah blah blah". Then they have two spots. Say a florist and a photographer, or a (real) wedding planner and a videographer. (This is where my copy is read) They end with, check out our web site for more professionals and they have put up a page with all of our banner ads. It only cost me $375. It runs through the end of May, so I am pretty excited. I already have an appointment, which from the sounds of it will turn into a booking.
The cool thing about this, is although my personal spot only runs once a day, I really get advertised 8-9 times per day because I am part of the "consortium" of wedding professionals. I am considering continuing advertising with the station after the time runs out ... though I will probably wait unitl the summer is over. Haven't decided yet, depends on how successfull this season is.

If you are looking for quality video production at an affordable price call the experienced professionals from At Home Productions. Paul Swagerty is extremely easy to work with and will capture the emotion of the moment on your special day. Call At Home Productions… (916) ###-#### that’s ###-#### so you can “experience it…again.”

Hadn't heard of your company until now. I am in the Sacramento area. Where are you located and do you have a website?
Are you a member of the AFWPI? Maybe I will see you around.
