I think it would be fun. Just so you know I play bass but I don't play bass really well. I play it good enough to make me happy. I do need music...at least with guitar chords to follow along with for notes. I have never mastered the art of just playing by ear. I can't get the key and just go with the flow.

Now on trumpet and trombone I can hear a song once and play along with the melody and occasionally a little harmony. Those instruments demand constant practice to stay decent.....that's why I gave them up. With the bass guitar I can play once a week on Sunday and just have a good time.

I won't be rocking around and taking lead on the bass but I could probably keep up for a song or two. I would be fun is someone can get it together. I'm game.

That's what I was talking about. We could give you a few easy songs to learn, you can step up on stage for a few songs and when we run out of songs that you know you hand the bass off to somebody else.

I'm in if someone can make it happen. When I go off stage Bruce Cleveland and I can do a performance on the uni's to a song the band plays. Cool

We're gonna need some drummers, keyboards and some singers. If nobody steps up I'll be forced to sing, and YOU DON'T WANT THAT!!! Wink

This sounds cool! I went sales conventions in the 90's and one year they had a talent show. My boss got up and played some of the wildest blues guitar you can imagine! We never knew the guy played. He brought the house down! He later explained that he grew up in Philadelphia in the 60's and got chances to jam with some of the great bands of that era.
