WEVA: Thoughts and Thanks Can't Post

Hi Everyone,

Well, we just got back, picked up our extremely happy pups from the kennel, gave them each a bath and now we're catching our breath!

For us, the highlight of the event was seeing old friends and finally getting to meet some of you whom we haven’t had the opportunity of meeting before. Thanks for taking the time to stop and say hello!

We would like to thank all of those who attended our Sound Design presentation, and we're sorry for the technical difficulties with the audio. The ultimate bummer is having audio problems during a sound seminar! Hopefully you were still able to get some great tips and inspiration regarding this under-appreciated medium, and were able to walk away excited about the amazing creative possibilities of sound.

With our warmest regards,

Laura and Steve

Laura =-
I didnt get to WEVA expo this year- but I did see your sound design at video 'o8 - and I must say - if there is anyway for anyone to see or "hear it," it is DEFINATELY a seminar worth listening too - it was VERY inspiring to me and thought provoking- congrats on your award, too!

The audio issues at the sound design seminar didn't detract from it at all. It was still a very informative session. Good job!

Alan,

Thanks so much.

It's funny that you commented... Just yesterday Steve said to me, "Alan, from Bonnie Blink, was there and we never got to meet up with him!" I feel bad that we never touched bases. It can be overwhelming trying to connect with everyone, but we really love seeing our friends from VU with whom we regularly correspond. Next time for sure, okay?

Thanks again,

Laura

David, let me second that! 3 Bronze awards in Ceremony - Reception - Highlights. That is quite a feat. You are now officially the Pride of Great Neck, NY. Smile Way to go, I know they are not your first awards and I'm sure not your last. Smile

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the congrats. I was wondering if there was an award for the person who gave the most introductions as well. Wink It seemed as you were either giving a seminar, introducing someone, working the room, going to parties, etc., etc.,... that California sunshine must have something to do with it.

Regards,
