Website Design Tips Can't Post

I am thinking about designing a web page for my future videography business. I don't think I need anything as extensive as GoLive or Dreamweaver, but would like a good web authoring software suggestion. I don't know HTML, but am good working with publishing and editing software. Can anyone recommend anything that they used and found to be easy to use and had good, stylish graphics? Also, has anyone used a .mac account homepage to describe their business? Thanks for any input!

Re: Website Design Tips Can't Post

I do professional web design and use Image ready (which comes with photoshop if you have that) as well as dreamweaver and Visual Dev from Microsoft.
There are a number of free HTML editors out there, as well as some cheap WYSIWYG editors. You might check out "Web Studio".

I haven't used it so I know nothing about it. It's 60 bucks.
Your local bookstore has books on programming HTML and web site design. There are also a number for reference sites online - use google.com
A good source of shareware and freeware software is download.com .. here's a link to the Web Design area:

Hey Mike,
If you are "professional web designer" where is your web site?
Most "professional web designers" have a web site, or at least that's what I have heard.
