Thanks for answering. You pretty much answered everything I needed to know. I myself have shot in 8 and 16(yet to shoot 35) and its a lot of fun. It's a whole different ball game compared to shooting video. I know when I get married, I am going to have my wedding filmed(or at least parts of it) I know its going to cost me an arm and a leg and maybe both of my eyeballs. Who knows, I might even contact you for a quote. :-) - Sal : : I don't mean to open a can of worms here but why call wedding videography, film? You think people can be mislead? : No worms. : I don't call wedding videography, "film." My company is called Wedding Films. It's a state of mind, not a literal thing. We want to convey the cinematic movie-like sense with our videos, and try to separate us from other wedding videos they might have seen in the past. George Lucas still calls his company Lucasfilm, but he shot the last Star Wars using not a single frame of film. : I'm the first person to correct someone when they say their going to go "film" something. I've shot with 8,16, and 35mm film, and 3 times from a helicoptor using a tyler mount- much fun. : I don't think anyone will be mislead as I never say I'm going to "film" anything. Everywhere, it says "Videographers" or "Professional 3CCD digital video videography, editing, and sound post production by Emmy award-winning team". : If someone wants their wedding filmed, we'll be happy to quote them a custom price. : Thanks, : Mike Tiffee : Wedding Films : www.weddingfilms.com
